Daran: The Alluring Coastal Beach of Balochistan

Daran Beach is
located along the western coast of Balochistan, between Ganz and Jiwani. This
coastal beach is famous for its clean ocean waters and shores, making it a
popular spot for picnics and camping trips. People often visit Daran Beach
for 2- or 3-days camping trips.
They set up camp, catch various types of fish
through fishing activities, and take enjoyment in the scenic views.
Daran
Beach is also known as a breeding ground for sea turtles, who lay their eggs
along the coast. Remnants of graves found in the area suggest Daran
Beach was inhabited by people approximately 100-200 years ago. In addition to
its natural beauty, the beach is home to famous wells, including (Makka Chaat).
The water from this well is extremely pure and clean, with ideal TDS levels
that exceed the quality of commercial bottled water brands. Government officers
who have visited the well and tested its water have been impressed by its
natural filtration system and purity. The nearby village of Ganz relies on the Daran
area to collect wood and to draw water for daily use.
While rich in natural
beauty, Daran Beach remains difficult to access due to poor road
conditions. The area is also home to local wildlife species like black
scorpions and various snake species Overall, Daran Beach is a scenic
coastal area with rich natural resources, awaiting development for easier
accessibility.
